Manchester United will be without two of their best players when Liverpool visit Old Trafford on Sunday, with Paul Pogba and David de Gea set to miss out through injury.
Pogba has failed to recover from an ankle injury which has seen him miss four of United’s last seven games, while De Gea appeared to pull his groin while on international duty for Spain on Tuesday night.

It comes as a huge blow to Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who is under mounting pressure after overseeing the club’s worst start to a campaign for 30 years.
Solskjaer has been without a number of key players throughout the beginning of the season, but his problems have not gone away over the international break.
De Gea went down in pain after taking a goal kick during the second half of Spain’s Euro 2020 qualifier with Sweden.
Spain immediately substituted the goalkeeper, who will likely be replaced by Sergio Romero on Sunday.

However, Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are expected to return for the Red Devils, while Anthony Martial is also in contention for the match.
Liverpool’s injury news has been positive, with goalkeeper Alisson Becker and forward Mohamed Salah set to start.
Alisson has been sidelined since the opening day with a calf injury while Salah suffered an ankle injury in the Reds’ 2-1 win over Leicester before the international break.
